WILDWOOD – Owners of businesses located in the City of Wildwood that were damaged by last year’s Superstorm Sandy are invited to attend an October 17 workshop hosted by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA).
The event is open to any business that sustained $5,000 or more in physical damage from the October, 2012 storm.
The one-day workshop will be held in Room 111 of the Ocean City Free Library, 1735 Simpson Ave., from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Appointments are available.
“If a business owner is interested in meeting with an advisor to help with the application process, they should respond to Patient Purdy at 609-858-6924 or Ppurdy@njeda.com,” said Dominck Fiorilli, Regional Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of the Governor. Business owners wishing to have a specific time to meet should notate it when contacting Purdy. “Every effort will be made to honor time requests when possible,” Fiorilli said.
