The City of Wildwood is pleased to announce the return of Sundays in the Park – The Fox Park Amphitheater FREE Concert Series. This would be the 12th year of the Sunday night institution, but Covid-19 delayed its return…until this year.
“As we see some return to normalcy with outside restrictions being lifted entirely, we are confident to welcome back residents and visitors to this free one-of-a-kind weekly outdoor concert experience,” stated Commissioner Krista Fitzsimons who oversees all events for the City of Wildwood.
The free concerts take place 7:30 pm every Sunday night from July 4th weekend until the end of August, except August 22nd due to the long anticipated Barefoot Country Music Festival (August 19-22).
Sundays in the Park is proudly sponsored each year by The City of Wildwood Tourism and Development Commission (TDC) which was established to promote growth, development and quality of tourism. The goals of the TDC are to generate visitation to increase tax revenues for the improvement of the quality of life for the citizens of the community, to provide support for beach renourishment and to ensure a viable hospitality industry.
The Joe Stamile Amphitheater at Fox Park is located on Ocean Avenue between Montgomery and Burk. Concertgoers should be sure to bring a chair and beach blanket.
