🪣 Bring Your Own Bucket & Gloves!
Bucket Brigade continues strong into 2025! Over the last few years, volunteers BYOB – Bring Your Own Bucket, to collect trash. This initiative continues to be well received, and COA appreciates towns who have joined in on this effort to reduce the use of plastic trash bags.
Whether you’re a student, family, business group, or just someone who loves the beach, your participation helps remove harmful debris from our waterways and raises awareness about pollution along the Jersey Shore.
💙 Why It Matters
Every piece of trash picked up makes a difference. The data collected during the sweeps also helps Clean Ocean Action track pollution sources and push for stronger environmental policies.
📣 Help Spread the Word!
Post photos, tag your cleanup crew, and use the hashtag #COABeachSweeps to share your experience.
Let’s make this 40th anniversary one to remember. See you on the beach!
