WILDWOOD ARTS IN THE PARKS RETURNS

The Arts in the Parks series returns for a third season due to overwhelming popularity. From July 11 through August 17, 2023, at 7PM, the City will host nature, art, and crafts in three neighborhood parks.* The events are free and open to the public – residents and visitors alike.

Painting takes place on Tuesdays with sister team Jenn and Linda from Aprennis Painting Parties. Thursdays is Nature Arts and Crafts by the NJ Audubon Society/Nature Center of Cape May.

Commissioner Krista Fitzsimons, who oversees Wildwood events, said, “I am thrilled to see this series grow over the past three years. We originally started with music, yoga and arts and immediately saw that the families, especially the kids, really enjoyed the hands-on activities. These are active and fun learning experiences for all ages.”

This series gives residents and visitors a chance to cool down from the summer heat and daily hustle and bustle. The events are family-friendly and a great chance to connect with neighbors or to make new friends.

Just like the Seward Johnson Exhibit in the same parks, Arts in the Parks is Sponsored by Wildwood TDC. The goals of the TDC are to generate visitation to the City and its beaches, attractions, and special events and to improve the quality of life for the citizens of the community.
