Wildwood Beach Patrols Honors Marine Retiree

The Wildwood Beach Patrol is honoring one of their own - one of the few, the proud, the Marines - Fergal Cagney in this Facebook post.

He served our nation during many combats in which the United States helped secure positions in Somalia; an American intervention in Iraq 2014 – 2021; an American intervention in Syria 2014 to present; and an American intervention in Libya 2015 – 2019.

Prior to joining the United States Marine Corps, Cagney served as a lifeguard on the beaches of Wildwood from 1993-1997. Now, he is retiring after 30 years in service. We him a debt of gratitude that cannot be repaid. “Freedom is never Free.”

Best wishes, success and happiness to you and your family for the future. Enjoy your much deserved retirement.

If anyone would like to send Fergal a Message, email Wildwoodbeachpatrol@aol.com for his contact info.
